Adwares maker gone too far since the evolution of programming techniques. The problem that we are looking into is related to chrome extensions. These extensions are were installed by spammers so that they can replace the new tab url or to send you annoying advertisement in a popup.
I found one in my chrome. The extension was ‘Always Weather‘
I wasn’t able to remove it from chrome.
It also sets Yahoo as my default search engine but on my Chome settings, the default engine is Google.
When I try and remove it from my local app data it just comes back.
I’ve scanned with Malwarebytes, comes up empty.
Reset Chrome to default settings.
Uninstalled anything that I’ve downloaded lately that would have done this.
But Nothing Worked.
So i followed up some more attempts to uninstall this irritating extension.
